The Hydrodynamics STEM Boost Kit is a hands-on engineering kit for one middle- or upper-level student. Learners build and test a hydraulic-powered C-Bot to explore how fluid systems create force and motion, guided by a student activity guide. Students construct a working C-Bot powered by hydraulics, experiment with how water pressure transfers force through syringes and tubing, and apply creative engineering to customize their design. Some additional supplies are needed (weights or coins, cup of water, glue gun, small screwdriver, white glue, transparent tape). Works in classrooms, makerspaces, afterschool programs, camps, and home learning environments.
